    History:
She was born Padmé Naberrie in the year 46 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin) to Ruwee and Jobal Naberrie and elder sister Sola on the planet Naboo in a small isolated little village tucked away in the mountains. When she was still young they moved to the capital city, Theed, where she received the best education she could. Her class would often take trips out to the lake country. Eventually she joined the RRM (Refugee Relief Movement) and traveled to Shadda-Bi-Boran to help relocate the people before their star exploded. Unfortunately they died, unable to adapt to another planet.

"His name was Palo. We were both in the Legislative Youth Program. He was a few years older than I… very cute… dark curly hair… dreamy eyes."

After that she joined the Legislative Youth Program where she had her first romantic encounter with Palo. Their relationship was innocent and brief as they both parted ways to pursue different careers. Padme continued her journey into politics by joining the Apprentice Legislature at the age of eight and was an Apprentice Legislator by the age of eleven. By the age of thirteen she was Princess of Theed and became Queen of Naboo with the secret backing of Senator Palpatine who had his own reasons for not supporting King Ars Veruna. With her election, another romantic encounter ended and she took on the name Amidala.

She had several handmaidens who had several duties to perform, once of which was to act as bodyguards or decoys. This was not made known to many. Her head of security, Captain Panaka, insisted that she be trained in self-defense and weapon usage. All of this came in handy when five months into her ruling when the Trade Federation set up a blockade around Naboo in protest of the Senate's decision to tax users of the trade routes. When her attempts to negotiate with Viceroy Nute Gunray, Chancellor Valorum sent Republic ambassadors. What the Viceroy didn't know was that these ambassadors was a Jedi team, Knight Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. Still, that didn't stop him from attempting to assassinate them before they managed to escape. While the Jedi were making their way down to the planet and then on to Theed, the Trade Federation made their next move.

    "We are brave, Your Highness."

Communications were cut off on Naboo and his droid troops were deployed across the planet. When Amidala refused to go to war the Trade Federation took control and invaded Theed and the palace itself. However, what the Viceroy (and few others) didn't know was that Padmé had switched places with one of her handmaidens and her decoy, Sabé, refused to sign the treaty that would authorize the Federation to occupy Naboo. In order to give her time to rethink her decision the entire group was to be taken to a detention camp. They never made it thanks to the Jedi swooping in and freeing them. With Padmé's approval, the decoy Queen accepted the Jedi's offer to escort her to Coruscant where she could plead her case in person.

First they had to get to a ship capable of taking them all the way there so they journeyed to the hanger where they freed a handful of pilots before taking a Nubian Starship. Their luck continued to hold out when they escaped destruction thanks to an astromech droid, R2D2, as they faced down the Federation's blockage. However, their ship was severely damaged and wouldn't make it all the way to Coruscant so they diverted to Tatooine for repairs and replacement parts. Disguised as a handmaiden Padmé went to Mos Espa with Qui-Gon, Jar Jar and R2D2.

    "Are you an angel?"
    "What?"
"An angel. I've heard the deep space pilots talk about them. They live on the moons of Iego, I think. They're the most beautiful creatures in the universe."

In one of those shops is where she met a young slave named Anakin Skywalker. His owner was the only one who had parts for the Nubian Crusier they were looking for, unfortunately they didn't have type of payment Watto would accept. Leaving empty-handed they took to the streets where they once again met up with Anakin who not only saved Jar Jar but offered them all shelter from the sandstorm with him and his mother, Shmi. Once there they discussed how to get the needed parts and Anakin spoke up about podracing. While Padmé was hesitant to place so much of their trust in the boy they just met, Qui-Gon continued ahead anyway.

Not only did Anakin win the race and get them the parts, he'd also won his own freedom due to Qui-Gon side-betting with Watto. Padmé returned to the ship while Qui-Gon went back for Anakin, who was Force-sensitive. On their way back they were attacked by a man who was trained with a lightsaber. They fled instead of standing their ground, continuing their journey to Coruscant. Once more on the way there she saw Anakin as Padmé but once they reached their destination she took over her role as Queen Amidala.

"I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee!"

As planned, Amidala went before the Senate to plead for their help but they sat around debating while her people died. She called for a "Vote of No Confidence" in the Chancellor and Palpatine was nominated then voted in to succeed him. Despite the good news and the protests, Amidala planned to return home in order to free her own people. The Jedi and Anakin accompanied them once again to escort her and find out the identity of the Sith that had attacked them. At some point before arriving on Naboo, she once again became Padmé. Once there they visited the Gungan underwater cities only to find them abandoned. Jar Jar led them to a scared place where Sabé attempted to persuade the Gungans to help them.

"Although we do not always agree, Your Honor, our two great societies have always lived in peace. The Trade Federation has destroyed all that we have worked so hard to build. If we do not act quickly, all will be lost forever. I ask you to help us... no, I beg you to help us.
    We are your humble servants.
Our fate is in your hands."

This was the point where Padmé stepped forward and revealed herself as the Queen, pleading with the Gungan leader to help them. When they agreed they could finally draw up their battle strategy. With the Gungans fighting the droid army far away from Theed, the smaller party would invade the palace, splitting up to send pilots to destroy the droid control ship while Padmé captured the Viceroy. Most of it went according to plan though no one counted on Anakin destroying the control ship or Qui-Gon falling to Darth Maul. Obi-Wan killed Darth Maul in return for which the Jedi Council made a Knight and he took on Anakin as a Padawan.

The events of this situation made her popular amongst her people, enough that she stayed on to serve another term as Queen. They attempted to elect her for a third term by wanting the constitution changed but she stepped down in 25 BBY and Queen Jamillia. She thought about retiring and settling down to start a family like her sister but the Queen urged her to be the representative for Naboo in the Senate. Padmé became the Senator the same year as Senator Clovis, who she became close to. However, she ended it feeling that it was unprofessional and he didn't take it very well. They decided it was best to avoid contact of any kind.

Most of these years were spent on Naboo but she soon became one of the leaders of the Loyalists Committee when the Separate Crisis began, working as an advisor to Chancellor Palpatine. Padmé disapproved of fighting their violence with more violence and also became part of the Republic diplomats that attempted to negotiate peace with them. However, all of their attempts were thwarted by terrorist attacks that Padmé believed to have done by Count Dooku, one of the leaders of the Separatists and a former Jedi Master, and she became a target of assassination.

Upon her return to Coruscant in 22 BBY an assassination attempt was made upon her landing. While Padmé was safe in her disguise as one of the security detail when the ship exploded her decoy, handmaiden and several other security guards were killed in the blast. She had a conference with the Chancellor and several others it was suggested that a team of Jedi be assigned to protect her and Padmé refused at first but it was arranged so that she would have two Jedi that she trusted. Later that day she was reunited with Master Kenobi and Padawan Skywalker after a decade apart.

While she would have rather found out who was behind the order to kill her, she placed her trust in the team that had been sent to protect her. That night she covered the cameras in her bedroom and had R2D2 on watch in her room but another attempt was still made in the form of a pair of small poisonous creatures. They crept in while she slept but the Jedi sensed it before it was too late and cut down the kouhuns. Obi-Wan jumped from the window and onto a probe droid while Anakin went for a speeder. Together the team ran down the assassin but the moment they caught her, she was killed by a poison dart.

”No, you listen. We live in a real world. Come back to it. You're studying to become a Jedi... I'm, I'm a senator. If you follow your thoughts through to conclusion, it'll take us to a place we cannot go. Regardless of the way we feel about each other.”

It was decided that Padmé would be safer back on Naboo with Anakin protecting her while Obi-Wan hunted down the bounty hunter. Padmé disapproved of the idea but the Chancellor made it an executive order, irritated she left Jar Jar as her representative and began her travel home in disguise as a civilian. When they returned they saw the Queen before heading out to a lakeside retreat. While they were there feelings of love grew though Padmé attempted to deny them, saying it would be a mistake and destroy their lives. Like all of the other times in her life, she was going to put their careers/way of life before their feelings.

Everything was pushed aside when Anakin confessed of his continued nightmares of his mother dying. Despite their order to stay on Naboo, Padmé accompanied him to Tatooine in order to find Shmi. When they arrived they saw Watto who said that she’d been sold, set free and then married to a moisture farmer. Cliegg Lars told them that she had been kidnapped by Tusken Raiders a month earlier and all attempts to find and rescue her had failed. Anakin wasn’t willing to give up though, so he left Padmé with the Lars family while he went to search for his mother. He returned the next morning with his mother’s body. It wasn’t until later when he confessed to her that he slaughtered the entire village, even the women and children. Padmé attempted to comfort him, saying that he was only human. While they attended Shmi’s funeral, Artoo received a message from Obi-Wan.

”He gave you strict orders to protect me and I'm going to help Obi-Wan. If you plan to protect me, you'll just have to come along.”

The message revealed that he had tracked the bounty hunter to Geonosis and that the assassination had been made by Count Dooku as Padmé suspected, he was soon attacked and captured by droidekas. She twisted Mace Windu’s order to Anakin to protect her, deciding that she would go to Geonosis to rescue Obi-Wan and that he’d just have to come along if he wanted to follow his instructions. They were closer, after all. Shortly after they arrived they were chased and separated. They were both captured and sentenced to a public execution. Before they were reunited with Obi-Wan, Padmé confessed her love to Anakin and they shared what they thought might be their last kiss.

They were handcuffed to giant pillars but Padmé was like "nope" and started picking the lock with a hair accessory while Obi-Wan and Anakin stood around. She climbed her pillar to get higher ground when a nexu attacked and Padmé struck it back. By the time she managed to get the restraints completely off, the Jedi had freed themselves as well while hoards of Jedi appeared to help and she joined them in fighting off the enemy long enough for help to arrive in the form of clones. They boarded ships to follow after Count Dooku to put a stop to a war before it started. One particular hit shook the ship hard enough for Padmé to fall out and land on the sand below. By the time she woke up and followed after Dooku, he was already leaving the planet and Anakin had lost his arm.

And so the Clone Wars begun yet that was not quite important enough for Padmé and Anakin as they returned to Naboo to marry in secret. Despite Obi-Wan coming to her and asking her to not pursue a relationship with Anakin on Yoda's order. Only a pair of droids and a holyman knew of their marriage, although it turned out that Panaka discovered their secret marriage and reported it to the Chancellor. However, they couldn't stay away forever and they returned to a galaxy at war with itself.

Padmé was still often a target for assassination and her husband went to the front lines with his Master. Their time together were moments stolen whenever Anakin could get back to Coruscant. She looked after C3PO for him and when he became a Jedi Knight he gave her his Padawan braid. That's when she asked him to look after R2-D2 for her.

While most of her time was often spent on Coruscant and in the Senate trying to bring peace back to the galaxy and end the war, she did leave the planet for various things. She often accompanied Jedi on their missions or pursued missions on her own or attempted to bring neutral planets into the Republic though some saw her as the reason for the war due to her illegal presence on Geonosis. Yet it didn't stop her in the least for attempting to end the war.

During the war Padmé lost good friends, faced terrible plots against the Republic and hardships. Even Anakin's Padawan was gone despite her attempts to prove Ahsoka's innocence in a Jedi Temple bombing. She often went long periods of time without seeing her husband and then something wonderfully terrible happened. Padmé became pregnant. While it was something she'd wanted, she was hiding a secret love that could have consequences for both of them and the war still continued to rage on. It took months for her to even be able to tell Anakin because he was away. And the only reason he came back from the Outer Rim was because an attack on Coruscant resulted in the Chancellor's kidnapping. Though having a child should be happy news (and it was for a time) it also caused Anakin to have nightmares about the birth.

"What if the democracy we thought we were serving no longer exists, and the Republic has become the very evil we have been fighting to destroy?"

They started drifting away from each other, especially when the Council told Anakin to spy on the Chancellor and several Senators approached her about Palpatine having too much power. So Padmé agreed to lead the Delegation of 2000 but the terrible part was that she couldn't tell Anakin. She wanted Palpatine to return power to the Senate but he refused, it would later be used to pave the way for him to get rid of the Rebel Alliance. When she sat listening to him show proof that the Jedi had turned against the Republic and that he was turning it into an Empire she knew that it would be bad for the Delegation of 2000, telling Organa and Mon Mothma to vote with the Chancellor in order to save themselves and fight another day.

That is when the clones marched on the Temple and she could see the glow of destruction from her apartment where she worried for Anakin's safety. It ended when he came to her unharmed before he left to Mustafar to put an end to the Separatist movement. He assured her that despite the fact that her name was on the Delegation, she would be safe because of his standing as Palpatine's ally. Soon after she was visited by Obi-Wan who told her that Anakin had not only fallen to the Dark Side but that he had led the attack on the Temple, even killing the younglings. Still Padmé would not give him Anakin's location for she feared for his life. Before he left, Obi-Wan uncovered the truth that Anakin was the father of her unborn child to which she didn't reply.

"Anakin, you're breaking my heart! You're going down a path I cannot follow!"

Padmé had to find Anakin, so she took her ship and C3PO to Mustafar in order to be reunited with her husband. There she discovered what Obi-Wan had said was true and Anakin tried to convince her to rule the galaxy together with him. It all ended terribly when she wouldn't. Lost to the Dark Side Anakin accused her of working together with Obi-Wan who had stowed away on her ship before choking her until she passed out. While the two Jedi fought, C3PO and R2 got her on board the ship. Only Obi-Wan walked away and took her to a medical facility on an asteroid where they healed her body. This is where she gave birth to their twins - Luke and Leia in her last minutes of life. Despite everything she knew that there was still good in Anakin.

    Personality:
“I do not like this idea of hiding.”

Due to her upbringing, Padmé is a strong, independent woman. She knows what she wants and is willing to work hard to get it. There are very few times Padmé will let another push her into doing something she doesn’t want to. Usually when she does it’s because she knows it’s what’s best not just for herself but also for those she cares for. She knows when to give in and when to stand her ground and she’s willing to fight for it too. That doesn’t mean she can’t be persuaded to do something, such as becoming Senator due to the request of the Queen.

At times she can be rather fierce in her actions. She refused to stand by while the Senate discussed what to do with Naboo while it was being invaded and took charge when she went into hiding on her planet. It was also her who decided to go after Obi-Wan when Anakin hesitated, not that he complained too much. Yet her fierceness isn’t just limited to making decisions, she’s also good in a fight too. There’s no hesitation to shoot when left with no other option and even if she gets injured Padmé still continues fighting. She’s willing to take dangerous chances in order to survive and protect the people she cares about.

While she is very loyal Padmé can be a bit of a rebel. She’s willing to stand up for what’s important to her, even if it means going against the wishes of others. Once she’s made up her mind there’s no changing it and she will attempt to get her way in a way that will benefit everyone. When a person gains her trust Padme will remain loyal to them no matter what happens even if it hurts her in the end. It can be a bit of a flaw when it comes to trusting the wrong people and she will rush off into danger for them.

Stubbornness is one of those traits that can be seen rather easily in her, something that helps make everything else so much easier to express. It can also get the better of her from time-to-time, nearly making her miss out on opportunities laid out before her. Luckily for her, it doesn’t dominate her personality and she push it aside to accept what she must. Padmé also has very strong beliefs, always has since she was a young child. Those beliefs have followed her into adulthood and often serve her well in her occupation.

“If we offer the Separatists violence, they can only show us violence in return!”

One of those beliefs just so happens to be that violence should not be fought with more violence. Though that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s a pacifist, not at all. She’s more concerned about those would lose their lives and their freedom. No, Padmé simply believes that they should attempt to negotiate peace instead resorting violence but she won’t hesitate to pick up a blaster and fight if need be. In fact, she did arrange to fight back when the Trade Federation took over her planet and even asked the Gungans for help in building an army. Padmé will kill if that’s that only solution but she’s a diplomat for a reason and will attempt to talk her way out of a situation before resorting to violence. Of course, she will fight to defend herself and everyone she cares about.

Being in her line of work had made her very persuasive when attempting negotiations. That doesn’t mean she’s the best at it however, as there will always be someone better out there. It is a big galaxy, after all. Yet talking to someone can have a great affect on a person and Padmé is good at it, has to be to be a diplomat. She’s also quick-witted. Able to think on her feet with an intelligence not every species is capable of. This helps her not only in a debate but also on the battlefield. If something goes wrong she can easily find another solution to turn the odds in her favor.

It shouldn’t really come as any surprise that she’s brave, not with everything she’s been through. Padmé has faced down individuals who have threatened her with not only her life but the lives of her people. While she is afraid of watching her people suffer and die, she won’t back down when someone threatens them. Instead, Padmé prefers to face her adversaries head-on, no matter if it’s in a physical altercation or a political argument. She’s also not afraid to speak out when an injustice has been made, even if the ones she thinks is wrong is someone she loves dearly. Not only does she exhibit this braveness, she can also inspire it in others like certain handmaidens who would put themselves in the dangerous position to act as her decoy.

Despite all of these traits that make her seem tough, Padmé is also kind and compassionate. She not only cares for those close to her she can also care for complete strangers she doesn’t know or has only just met. Padmé had a close relationship with all of her handmaidens that they were willing to lay down their lives for her and some of them did. It’s what led her into politics, that kindness of hers that wanted to help the people of not only her world but those of others as well. She’s been empathetic since she was a child, taking part in a refugee program that was designed to help others who were struggling. Even after the unfortunate loss, Padmé never forgot the people she met when she tried to help them. When Anakin confessed to her about killing out of anger she didn’t condemn him or become afraid, instead she attempted to console him in his grief and confusion.

She’s also very honest with the people she comes across, believing the truth to be the best thing to do in nearly every situation. While it can make her a bit blunt sometimes she does what she thinks is right, even if it hurts a little to do so. Of course, that doesn’t mean she isn’t capable of deception. Mainly this comes in the form of pretending to be someone she’s not and allowing someone else to take her place. Usually this happens when protection is needed and that doesn’t mean she always approves. Padmé is also very humble, not thinking herself better than anyone and it’s helped in the past, especially when talking to the Gungans.

“We'd be living a lie. One we couldn't keep, even if we wanted to. I couldn't do that. Could you, Anakin? Could you live like that?”

At one point Padmé wanted a family life and nearly got it after she was no longer Queen. However, she is very much dedicated to her career that she couldn’t refuse when offered a Senator position. It started much further back than that though, stretching back to when she ended her very first relationship. Padmé has ended a few relationships in order to focus on her career and because she also thought it was best for the other person as well. She’s actually just pulled this on Anakin, putting their “careers” before their feelings.

It’s a form of self-sacrificing that’s been instilled in her from her father. Not only is she willing to die for what she believes in, she also gives up the things she loves. She didn’t want to get in the way of Anakin’s dream to become a Jedi and so she pushed him aside. Like all self-sacrificing moves, it hurts her more than she’s willing to admit. However, Padmé believes that it is what’s best for the both of them and so she will be the one to put a stop to whatever could be -- even if it means hurting the other person a little with harsh words. She’s very much that lying about their relationship would destroy their lives (and how right she was about that). The only way she’d be willing to admit her feelings is if they were about to die anyway.

Yet, that’s the life of a responsible adult - putting aside personal feelings for something much bigger. She has to be in her line of work. There’s an entire planet relying on her and Padmé has to put them above herself and everything else. Or at least, she tries to. The truth is that she does love Anakin, she’s just not willing to say it at this point in her life. She has and will risk her own life for him, will put him before everyone else, is willing trust him above all others and it scares her.

Even as a married woman she puts aside their wants and desires in order for them to do their duties. She's not the kind of wife who would get angry or sad that Anakin has to leave, in fact, she encourages him to go or helps him pack. That doesn't mean she isn't glad for the moments they do manage to steal in secrecy. Padmé is always, always happy to see her husband and misses him when he's away. Of course, like any wife who's left waiting at home while the man she loves is off fighting a war, she worries. Worries desperately for his safety, especially when the missions are the ones so secret there are just a few people who even know about. The longer he's away, the more she worries.

Just like she thought it would the secret they have has the potential to destroy them. Padmé worries over what would happen if they were exposed and Anakin's the one who has to deal with her doubt and paranoia because no one else knows. Being around him calms and soothes her like her presence does for him. With him Padmé has no secrets, and couldn't hide them even if she tried. Their secret does put a strain on the rest of her relationships though. She tries her hide her concern for him when she's with them and she has to lie if she doesn't manage to hide it well enough. There are some who suspect about her feelings but most don't actually bring them up.

There is also a soft, carefree and playful side to her that’s so very rare. Padmé has spent so much of her life being a grown-up that on occasion she can be lead into a more relaxed state. She teases and laughs with those she’s comfortable with and generally not under the watchful eyes of others. However, the moments when something isn’t looming over her head are so few and far between. It’s not easy to find those peaceful occasions when she can just let go and be an ordinary woman.

    Powers/Abilities:
She has no supernatural abilities that any would consider mystic. Everything Padmé has gained has been through her own hard work.
Senator Powers: Padmé has been immersed in the world of politics since she was young and so she has learned the art of debate. Of course, that doesn't mean she always wins. Due to her upbringing she's a compassionate sort of person and moved by the terrible plights of others but that doesn't mean she's soft. She knows what needs to be done and won't let herself be pushed around by others.

Self-defense & Weaponry: During her time as Queen, her head of security insisted she learn to defend herself with martial arts. This means Padmé can use a blaster very efficiently to strike down any attackers. It came in handy when both Naboo was taken over by the Federation and will once again as the Battle of Geonosis escalates. Generally she doesn't resort to violence unless absolutely necessary, preferring instead to use diplomatic debate to defuse a situation.

Agility & Quick Thinking: While Padmé is certainly not the most agile being in the galaxy and pales in comparison to the Jedi, she is still quite skilled in this area. Her young age and physic help do things some might find difficult. She can scale structures and maneuver giant, moving machines. Padmé is also quick on her feet when it comes to getting herself out of sticky situations. Not only did she plan a full-out war against the Federation she can slip out of her handcuffs when captured too. She has the type of focus it takes to get up from a blow and jump right back into the chaos of things.

Pilot: Over the years she has learned how to pilot various space crafts. Though she may not excel at it yet as Padmé always has some sort of co-pilot. Usually in the form of R2D2, who, as we know, is pretty badass. When traveling with Anakin, she usually leaves the driving to him.

Multilingual: Not only does she have complete comprehension of Basic, Padmé can also understand several other languages used in the vast Star Wars galaxy. She can read, write and speak Ithorese, Mon Calamarian, Gran, Gunganese, High Galactic, and Rodese.

Cooking: Padmé has proved be quite good in the kitchen.

Swimming: She's also a very strong swimmer. Able to swim long distances.

    Appearance:
Shorty McShortyson. Padmé stands at 1.65 meters (5'4") and weighs in at 45 kilograms (99 lbs), making her short and light but she's well-toned. Her long, curly dark brown hair is usually pulled up in some fancy way, and she has light brown eyes. There's a beauty mark on her left cheekbone and another one low on right cheek. She has perfect posture, whether she's standing or sitting down, no matter how comfy the chairs/couch. Padmé is one of those people that makes people jealous of her fluid movements and graceful nature. Growing up in the public eye tends to do that. But at the same time she's not afraid to get down and dirty if needed. She's most relaxed in her own space, away from those who watch her constantly and even more so when Anakin's around.

    Previous Game History:
However, before Padmé could take her final breath and her children sent off to different parts of the galaxy, she was taken to a place known as the World of Imagination. She woke with her newborn infants beside her. As if that wasn’t emotional enough, Anakin was just on the other side of the door and their paths crossed mere minutes after her arrival. Padmé didn’t know which version of her husband she was looking at but any doubt faded the longer she stood in his presence. Even though there was relief there was still a hint of sorrow. They could now be the family she didn’t think they would be able to. Yet the realizations didn’t end there. Anakin had one more for her.

They had a third child, a daughter named Rominaria.

Anakin explained that they’d been living together in this world for over a year and that Romi had been born only five days ago (October 14th), right before Padmé’s disappearance. They now essentially had triplets. And that was fine. Of course they both had hurt to heal but for now, they could do it together and be a family. She spent most of the time at the castle, recovering and looking after the children.

Soon Halloween came and the Skywalkers attended the celebration as Veré and Set (which is the names they were married under years before) along with dressing up the triplets for their first trip out into the general public. Time passed and Padmé took an interest in the holidays of this world. For a time most of her days consisted of looking after the triplets but she did take up a part-time job working in the castle kitchen. Some strange events happened that seemed to be almost a natural part of the world but honestly the more interesting things were meeting people. Like her future daughter-in-law.

Then came Christmas and with it was more strange events. However, she was determined to celebrate the new holiday with her family. On Christmas morning they all gathered in the Skywalker rooms to open presents together and just be together. It wasn’t until the next month when something terrible happened to the family. Anakin had become Darth Vader, suit and all, while Padmé was regressed back to the days of being Queen. On top of that she had three small children to take care of. To keep everyone out of Vader’s immediate reach, Padmé stayed in a hotel room in the city. Helena often helped her look after them over the course of the next few days. When it was all over and they’d returned to normal, Padmé had to convince Anakin to move back into their rooms.

Things were fine after that. They went on a date for Valentine’s day and sometime later there were random bouts of singing. Padmé was happy. But of course it couldn't last because she is part of the series of bad feelings.

Politics and duties have taken a back seat in the last several months. Instead Padmé puts herself wholly into her family and the love she has for them. That doesn't mean she doesn't need a little time for herself from time-to-time and does seek to at least give herself a couple of hours to devote herself to some kind of task. She gets to do more of the things she enjoys such as reading or cooking. Not to mention that Padmé has grown very used to not having to hide her relationship with Anakin anymore. Which means she's become accustomed to actually being a family.

Are they gaining any abilities from their time in game? Did the game setting take something from them?
    She can now read English.

[She sat on the stone bench in the little alcove next to the window in her bedroom. Feet tucked close to her body with a pillow between her back and the wall. It wasn't the most comfortable places to sit and Padmé had every intention of looking into padding for the bench but it had the best view in the room. Gone were her formal Senate clothes and she wore the simple but elegant gown, her hair laying in loose curls around her frame instead of the complex hairstyles she often wore. In her lap is her locket but it lays there half-forgotten, her attention is fixated out the window instead.

Here in the privacy of her room she can allow herself a moment of peace. A moment to relax and just be herself. Gone is the Senator and woman who stood in the public eye, now all that's left is Padmé.

She had no Senate to report to, no duties that would keep them apart but they had lost part of their family. Gone were their infant children, their son now a grown man while his sisters had vanished completely. The five and a half months she's spent in that other world - living beyond the end of her her life was different from the one she'd had back in the Galaxy. Her days had been nearly completely filled with caring for her family. It had been a life Padmé had always wanted of changing diapers, folding tiny clothes and rocking her children to sleep even if it was sometimes even more exhausting than spending all day at the Senate or constantly running around.

Despite the weariness of looking after three children, she'd been happy. Happier than she had been in a long while. No more lying about their relationship and no more putting her duties before those she loved. Now she felt at a loss. There were nights when she woke expecting to find the other side of the bed empty but the soft sounds of Anakin soothing one of their children coming from the room across the way. It wasn't the same, the two of them being here without the rest of the family they were finally able to have.

Now she lifts the locket in one hand. Inside lies a picture of each of her children, the locket designed in a way to hold three. A finger runs over the images gently before she closes it and slips the chain back around her neck where the trinket lays against her heart alongside the japor snippet Anakin gave her so many years ago.]

Coruscant. The planet that never sleeps. Even at night the skyline is filled with ships and transports buzzing by, the light never seems to fade even though the sun has long since sunken under the horizon. Its four moons hang casually in the sky while most of the stars are blotted out by the light of the world that's still awake. There is no doubt that the underbelly of the world is as alive as the sky that hangs above it.

One would never guess that somewhere in that peaceful sky a battle continued to rage on. Entire worlds suffered, ships and lives were lost and evil lurked in every shadowed corner. On the surface tonight seemed just like every other night. Shady deals were being made, people celebrating small victories, the traffic never faltered even for a minute.

Even after all these years she still isn't used to this world. Not entirely. A part of her would always long for the peaceful silence that stretched over the fields of green or the rush of a nearby waterfall that enveloped her homeworld as the day turned to night. Yet there was a sort of beauty of an entire world covered in metal and teeming with alien lifeforms.

The balcony of her Senatorial apartment was a good place to watch it all go by. Tonight she was just as awake as the rest of the planet was. It had been months since she'd last seen her husband. To date it was the longest they'd been separated since their secret marriage on Naboo. Anakin had been assigned a mission on the Outer Rim and each day she missed him more and more. Every fiber of her being longed to see him, yet she was scared. A nervous anxiety was slowly building in her just like her stomach did.

It was the reason she was standing on the balcony tonight. The child growing inside of her was restless, possibly due to her storm of emotions. Padmé loved this new life. From a young age all she wanted was to have a family, like her sister did. Time and time again she had put it off to put her career first. If only that love could completely chase away the feelings she had of bringing such an innocence being into a galaxy torn apart by war. To bring it into a life made up of their lies. They might not be able to hide their relationship for much longer.

As her child shifted in her abdomen, she laid a hand on her stomach. Padmé wondered if the baby was Force sensitive like their father. It wouldn't surprise her if they were. The worries only continued as days passed and she had no word of Anakin's return. News of his death would surely reach the Senate rather quickly and she was always listening about in the corridors if there was any word from the Outer Rim. Nights like this one were the hardest, when she was so plagued with uneasiness that sleep did not come easily.

Her son or daughter kicked more persistently and Padmé turned her gaze away from the incandescent skyline to focus fully on where the youngest Skywalker lay secure in their mother's body. A smile fought its way through her concerns and settled on her face. This was a life that had been created out of the love she and Anakin shared. She often imagined a young boy with his father's sandy-blond hair, blue eyes and a grin to match.

"You will always be loved," Padmé said quietly. With a few soothing passes of her hand over the bulge of her stomach Anakin's child became calm.

Behind her a faint mechanical sound seemed to whisper into existence. She didn't have to turn around to know that C-3PO stood there inside the apartment. He too, was a part of Anakin that had been gifted to her. 3PO worried after her in the place of those who couldn't be with her, he worried enough for all of them. While he had been helpful over the last two years, Padmé was never more grateful for his presence than she had been over the last few months. There was usually constant chatter in her apartment because of him, and it made the apartment feel that less lonely. After a long moment the Senator turned towards the gold-plated droid and spoke before he could even raise an arm. "I'm coming."

Finally she turned away from the city and into the quiet of her apartment with one last lingering thoughtful look directed up towards the stars.
