[Character name] Hanato Kobato (and technically Suishou who lives inside her)
[Age] 16 (Suishou doesn't have an age but possibly hundreds years old)
[Canon] Kobato
[Point in time taken from canon] After she leaves the apartment for the last time and before she confronts Sayaka's husband for the last time.
[Background]
Once upon a time a long time ago an angel named Kohaku left Earth after falling in love with a human. Kohaku's job, to hatch all of the angel eggs was passed down to Suishou and one day this angel accompanied others to the Bridge where Heaven, Hell and the Spirit Realm emissaries for their respective realms all met to discuss peace. Suishou wandered off before the meeting started and got her wings caught in a tree. This was how a being named Iorogi from the Spirit Realm found her and at first he was tempted to torture her but instead fell in love after hearing her sing as thanks for saving her, the angel too loved him in return. In order to obtain his love Iorogi waged and all-out war against Heaven.
During this battle some of the damage escaped into the Human World and a young girl named Hanato Kobato became severely ill due to the fact that she shared the same soul as Suishou. This resulted in the young girl spending all her life in the hospital, watching others around her get sick and die. Finally it got to the point where Kobato died and the angel offered her own soul in place even though she would never be reincarnated. Before placing herself in Kobato's heart she and Iorogi spoke about what would happen as Suishou would die as well for doing this. Not wanting this Iorogi went before God and struck a deal and took punishment for his actions. The deal was that if Kobato could fill up a bottle that resulted when she healed a heart then her wish would be granted and she'd be healed so the angel could go free but would have no memories whatsoever. Iorogi's punishment was to be sentenced to live as a stuffed animal, along with punishing all of his minions and he could stay by Kobato's side on Earth and guide her to accomplish her goal.
Thus started Kobato and Iorogi's adventure on Earth, though like the angel before her referred to him as Ioryogi instead. They were placed in Japan and Kobato spent several months attempting to obtain her bottle so she could start filling it up by learning common sense. She tried several times and failed all the way through winter and up to summer before she earned it. Finally they were ready to begin. The first thing they had to do was get a place to live so Kobato found a small place with a woman named Chitose who rented out rooms. It didn't take her long to find a job at a kindergarten when she attempted to heal Sayaka's heart, though Sayaka's helper Fujimoto wasn't too thrilled with the idea and thought of Kobato as a burden.
As time went by Kobato healed a few hearts but never the one she'd taken the job from or of Fujimoto's either. Not to mention it was clear that the kindergarten was in some sort of trouble as a debt collector was often calling and threatening the school. While Ioryogi investigated from his side which involved his followers from the Spirit Realm, Kobato became deeper and deeper involved with the school and everyone there. Before she realized it, she'd fallen in love with Fujimoto but knew of his feelings for Sayaka. As it turned out the debt collector was actually Sayaka's husband whom she still loved and thought had betrayed them. Finally the school's time was coming to an end and Kobato asked to be taken to see Kazuto to make a plea to him. Their talk was interrupted by Fujimoto and they were both warned that the following day would be Yomogi Nursery's last. After that Fujimoto took Kobato back to her apartment.
At first it seemed she was asleep but when Ioryogi went to talk to God's messenger Ushagi and nearly started an attack, Suishou stopped him by standing in the way. She said that she knew her time was short and that she'd been watching as Ioryogi looked after her and was glad. Both Suishou and Kobato knew that their time would end the next day, so the next morning Kobato and Ioryogi set off with her suitcase full of clothes. Only she never made the meeting and ended up in a dream world instead.
[Personality]
[Abilities]
Her skills are pretty much non-existent. While sure she can learn to do anything she's a bit of a klutz whenever she does it. There is one important thing to note, she has an angel sleeping inside her soul. This angel has frozen Kobato's time and remains sleeping inside the young girl. Should Suishou awaken then Kobato's time moves forward and she could die. Because Kobato is neither alive or dead there is a giant crown of energy hovering over her head and it seems wearing a hat makes it magically disappear. This makes it very important to always wear a hat so that no one knows. Thanks to wanting to have her wish granted by God she has a bottle, a seemingly ordinary bottle that can break and inside are a few konpeito (star candy). These konpeito are actually representation of the hearts she's healed and when she does heal a heart the konpeito magically appears inside the bottle. According to God and Ioryogi once she fills this bottle up then she will have her wish granted. On rare occasions, Kobato has the uncanny ability to read someone's heart like the angel inside her and sometimes Suishou's wings appear though only to those who aren't ordinary humans.
Now Suishou has her own set of abilities as an angel and can use invocations. Most of the time these seem to need an incantation and are used to do good for the Earth and Heaven alike though there are some angels that can use them to fight. According to others it is said that Suishou replaced Kohaku when she left Heaven and her voice is capable of hatching angel eggs. The angels in Wish where Kohaku first appeared are able to make themselves appear human, float, fly, look down on Earth from Heaven, water yards, cannot partake in most food and basically refuel with the sun's rays. While Suishou will probably never make an appearance I thought I should throw this in.
[Other important stuff]
She has a beautiful singing voice. Ioryogi stated that it was the only good thing she was capable of doing right. Also she doesn't eat due to being a wandering spirit.

[Cue one young teenager with a suitcase at her feet looking a bit concerned and very lost. Her long hair catches the wind and she uses her free hand to move it from her face.]
Ioryogi-san? Ioryogi-san! Where did you go? [She rushes about, trying to figure out where this "Ioryogi-san" went only to trip over what seems like absolutely nothing. When she sits up she doesn't seem to be hurt any, other than a slightly red nose.
That's when she notices the Dreamberry and reaches for it.] Is this a phone? Is it on?
Hello, my name is Hanato Kobato and I'm looking for Ioryogi-san. He's... [She pauses and then looks horrified. If she tells everyone that he's a walking, talking stuffed animal blue dog that's been helping her then he'll get mad.] He's my stuffed animal. Ioryogi-san is a black and blue stuffed dog and I've lost him. I'm also a bit lost myself. Can someone please tell me how to get back to Yomogi Nursery from here? I have something very important I need to do.
