⌈ CHARACTER SECTION ⌉

Character: C.C.
Age: Unknown (perhaps about 5-6 centuries) | Appears about 16
Canon: Code Geass
Canon Point: Post Season 2

Background: Wiki

Personality:

Abilities:
Code of Immortality: Once upon a time, C.C. was once a normal human slave young girl until she crossed paths with an odd nun. This nun granted her a power called geass - which allowed her to make other people love her. Eventually she lost control of this power and people loved her whether she wanted it or not, only the nun was unaffected. It was around the point - years later - when she tired of all of the fake, forced love that the nun turned against her as well. As it turned out this nun was immortal and was seeking to end her existence finally by passing the curse onto C.C. This is often referred as the Code and can only be taken on by someone who has manifested their geass power completely - usually from the person who granted the power to one of the individuals who they gave the power to.

This power is exactly as it sounds, C.C. has not aged a single day since taking on the Code and has experienced a wide varieties of death since that day. She was burned at the stake as a witch, beheaded by guillotine, placed inside of an iron maiden, shot multiple times (and in vital places such as the heart and head), impalement, survived wars, been crushed by water pressure and nameless other deadly situations and comes out without a single scar. One character suggested that not even prolonged dismemberment would kill her as he wanted to chop her up and take her on a plane ride like that. Chances are good that she can't die from illness, poison or other such methods as well. She also doesn't seem to gain any weight no matter how much pizza she consumes.

Even if she has the power of immortality, it still hurts to be wounded or "killed". She still loses blood and can lose consciousness for a time. Chances are that more severe wounds take her longer to recover from as C.C. didn't get up immediately after being shot in the head but was fine shortly after being shot in multiple less fatal places.

Her immortality is marked by the mark on her forehead which is usually hidden by her bangs. The only way C.C. can die is if she manages to pass her Code onto a geass user that she created but so far that has failed, as it seems to need to be consensual (she was tortured into accepting it).

Gifting Geass: As part of the Code of Immortality, she has the ability to grant someone the power of geass. While she once was a geass user herself that time is long past. By forming a contract (hers seem to be granting her the wish to die but that doesn't have to be the only thing she gets in return, she doesn't also have to tell them what they must do for her right away) with them, they can gain a power that's beyond human. It manifests for everyone differently - C.C.'s was to make people love her, Marianne vi Brittania's manifests in the ability cast her spirit into another's body, Mao was capable of hearing the thoughts of those around him and Lelouch's was Absolute Obedience which allowed him to command any individual. She can give this power to more than one person at a time, though at her canon point, it's likely that everyone she formed a contract with is dead. Chances are good that C.C. won't be forming any new contracts while in Empath, though I will ask for mod permission if she finds the urge.

Geass Immunity and Sensor: As an individual who grants someone the power of a geass, she is also immune to it. It doesn't matter if she wasn't the one who gave them the power in the first place. Neither Mao, Lelouch or Rolo's various powers would work on her no matter how powerful they got. When Lelouch's geass became something he could no longer control, C.C. was able to sense it. She could break the power of Charles zi Brittania's geass power over Lelouch and restore the memories Charles had manipulated and changed. After being experimented on, the power to nullify various geass effects in this manner was given to Jeremiah Gottwald. She can also sense those who are connected to geass, though it doesn't seem to be perfect. C.C. couldn't find Mao from a long distance but she knew when V.V. (another like herself) kidnapped Nunnally - someone who was the center of Lelouch's world - and knew they were on Kamine Island. Though this doesn't appear to always work as she couldn't tell that Nunnally was still alive later on.

Hallucinations: When in close proximity, C.C. can inflict a variety of hallucinations on an individual. These appear to be horrific images that are a jumbled mess that can paralyze and sometimes send them into a violent fit as with when she used this power on Suzaku. She doesn't always need direct contact as she was able to touch Suzaku's Knightmare while he was inside and use this power on him. Unfortunately, C.C. has absolutely no control over what someone will see when this happens. As this is a merging of consciousness, it could very well be something they've never even witnessed in their life mixed with tragic events from their life. She doesn't the ability to know what images they might be witnessing either. If someone should touch her while she's using this power, they will see images of her past as a consequence.

C's World: This is essentially the collective human consciousness - both living and dead. As someone who holds the Code, C.C. can physically take people into it should there be a "door" nearby and has a general connection to it. Technically this ability won't be able to be used as there aren't any Thought Elevators in Empatheias... unless there's something similar and then that is a problem for another day.

Telepathy: Throughout the entire series, C.C. has shown the ability to telepathically speak to people. Mostly this is done with Marianne's spirit and only shown as a one-sided conversation on her end but they seem to have full conversations. However, she was shown to very briefly be able to telepathically talk at Lelouch at the very beginning. Also possibly at the end after his death (due to the dead also existing in C's World and her connection to it). In the case where she's talking to Marianne throughout the series, C.C. actually speaks out loud while her mouth was covered when she talked at Lelouch the first time. Seeing as how Empatheias already has a method of communicating telepathically, this power will be essentially be useless unless an amulet is lost or misplaced.

Intelligence: Having been alive for so long, C.C. has learned a lot over the years and has been involved in more than one war which makes her excellent at coming up with tactics and strategies. Though she tended to leave that to Lelouch when it came to moving the Black Knights around. C.C. was successful in reaching Lelouch after his memories had been altered and he was constantly watched by Brittania soldiers - soldiers who were specifically trying to hunt her down. She's also shown that she can use firearms and pilot a Knightmare with plenty of efficiency, though C.C. has lost to better pilots in the past. She is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat and can hold her own against others but usually prefers to leave the fighting to other people. Chances that she also knows more than one language as well as she's moved around ever since she became immortal.

Alignment: Elios
Way back when, when C.C. was still young and mortal she formed a contract and gained the power of the Geass. What her's manifested as was to make people love her, which was great at first until the power became uncontrollable. People started throwing themselves at her - giving her gifts and proposals she eventually gave back and turned down. Once she became immortal, C.C. turned away from love because everyone she loved eventually died while she continued to live on.

Other: As she was once a slave C.C. can prepare food for cooking, clean, sew, tend cows and sheep, and tend to corpses. However, C.C. tends to be lazy and doesn't always pick up after herself. She can also play the harp and loves eating pizza, even having an obsession with Pizza Hut's mascot Cheese-kun (in Japan). Of course C.C. is not actually her real name but the only other person who knows it is Lelouch - it isn't even known by fans either yet.
